TCK Sports Group began in 1972 as a small family business in a garage in Simpelveld, where we passionately strung tennis rackets. Since then, we have grown into a leading player in the sports industry and the exclusive importer for the Benelux of an impressive portfolio of top brands. At TCK we work with heart for sport. For us, sport is more than just an activity: it is emotion, energy, and enjoyment. It challenges, relaxes, and gives a feeling of freedom. TCK Sports Group is always in motion

Started as a repair service to earn extra income in the evenings, TCK Sports Group has grown into a thriving company with more than 70 employees and a portfolio of 25 leading sports brands. After more than 50 years, we look back on a rich history filled with remarkable moments and milestones that have shaped our growth and development.

2025

The expansion of TCK has begun. An additional 2,500 m² of warehouse space is being added, bringing the total to 15,000 m². On top of that, two new loading docks are being built to make the logistics process even more efficient.

2022

The year 2022 marks an important milestone for TCK Sports Group as our company celebrates its 50th anniversary! Our family business is more successful than ever. And this success is due to the efforts of ALL our employees, customers, suppliers and associates!

2020

In mid-2020, TCK moved to a much larger location in Kerkrade with a warehouse spanning over 9,000m2. Additionally, we started establishing a full-fledged bike division.

2019

1997

The company, now consisting of two BVs, continues its operations under the overarching name TCK Sports Group. The portfolio of brands continues to expand, and new brands are successfully introduced to the market.

1993

Dirk, Guido's eldest son, joins the company, initially to automate the business processes. However, he proves to have more potential and takes over the leadership from his father after five years.

1987

With the introduction of the German hiking and skiing footwear brand LOWA, a solid foundation is established for wholesale.

1972

Guido Schaffrath starts a service for stringing and repairing tennis rackets in Simpelveld under the name Tornado Sport.
