Our company

TCK Sports Group was founded in 1972 by Guido Schaffrath as a repair and stringing service for tennis rackets. Since then, TCK has developed into a flourishing business with sixty-five employees, distributing more than twenty premium sports brands within the Benelux. All people who work at TCK Sports Group have something to do with sport. For them, sport is about emotion: Tension and relaxation, the feeling of freedom. And with the right clothing and sports equipment, the experience is even more intense.

What we do

At TCK Sports Group we think and act like the brand and translate this to the market in line with our 'Think global, act local' motto. We share a long history with a large number of our suppliers, and therefore know the products we distribute inside out. In addition, our extensive sales team has great experience, insight and knowledge of the Benelux market. With all our employees, we ensure that the interests of our partners in the Benelux market are represented: from sales, marketing, logistics and after sales to service and warranty handling. Our head office is located in Kerkrade (the Netherlands). In addition, we have showrooms in Willebroek (Belgium) en Leusden (the Netherlands).

Corporate Social Responsibility

Achieving ISO 14001 certification is inextricably linked with the pursuit of sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility. With the certification, our environmental performance and compliance with laws and regulations within our organisation have been prioritised. We have already taken various initiatives in practice, including waste separation, the use of recyclable padding material and the purchase of electric commercial vehicles. Corporate Social Responsibility goes further than that, however. For example, we recently hired a number of employees with a distance to the labour market and we have been supporting the Dutch Disabled Ski Team for more than 30 years.

Logistical solutions

In addition to environmental awareness and corporate social responsibility, we are also continuously improving our internal processes. In 2019 we moved to new business premises, which had the result of tripling the company’s size in one fell swoop. This allows us to deliver even more items directly from stock. However, a larger warehouse also meant greater walking distances. This is why we decided to optimise our picking process. An impressive roller conveyor system was installed to that effect. We are very proud of this achievement, as this was both an extensive and challenging project. Minimised walking distances, so that more goods can be picked every day, is one of the biggest advantages of this system. An advantage which also benefits our customers optimally.

Started as a repair service to earn extra income in the evenings, TCK Sports Group has grown into a thriving company that employs more than 65 people and represents 25 sports brands. We look back on 50 years of TCK, reliving the most special moments and milestones.
